This name was born May 27, 1970 and is, with Barolo and Barbaresco, one of the most prestigious and important Doc, which enhance this great vineyard able to give wines of great longevity and pleasure. The very favorable exposure of this vineyard, the high density of plants per hectare and the special attention in managing the growing season, mean that the grape ripens in the best possible way, also, the long macerations and the refinement in wood of high quality, make this wine a high quality product capable of giving pleasant organoleptic feelings.
Color: of medium intensity, bright, alive, ruby with light orange reflexes.
Perfume: Ample clean sense of smell with notes of violet, cherry, cinnamon, licorice and leather.
Taste: It is considered an important wine with good structure, it goes well with red meats dishes, game and mature cheeses.
