Sourced from the same vineyard sites as the Mt. Jefferson Cuvée, Sommers Reserve Pinot Noir is blended from the top barrels of bought and traded fruit. While the Mt. Jefferson spends one year in barrel, the Sommers Reserve is raised up in a larger percentage of new wood and spends 18 months in barrel. Sommers was the maiden name of Paul’s paternal grandmother, Jessie.
